Does anyone have experience taking off solenoid and locking mechanism on the top box of a LT? My electric lock will lock, but will not unlock. Looks like locking pin has come apart and I am trying to figure out the easiest way to get to it and the lock assembly. Solenoid works.

Have you pulled the liner? IIRC the actuator is inside the top box but under the liner. This is from memory and that aint what it used to be.

My '05 developed the same problem. The end of the locking cable had unscrewed itself from the lock mechanism. The cable would still push against the lock mechanism so it would lock OK, but was not able to 'pull' the lock back to its unlocked position. For me the fix was not inside the trunk, but rather required screwing the end of the cable back into the lock mechanism from the OUTSIDE, with the trunk latch in the raised position. That doesn't allow much room to work but I was able to fix it without removing anything.
