I've had (and love riding) my new 12 RT 1200 for several weeks now and still cannot get used to the lack of daytime readability of the instrument panel. I'm sure there is a reason why BMW uses this type of screen display, but it's very hard to read. Are there any fixes like an overlay?

No perfect fix but shading it with a shelf over it helps a bunch

You're not the first to notice this- design is unchanged since intro of the R1200.
