I started my bike and totally forgot it for a couple HOURS.
I found it with about 12oz of oil underneath it and the motor off.
The garage was filled with the smell of burnt oil.
I know I melted the oil window and caused the leak.
But now it won't start. I'm thinking the Hall sensor or it's wiring..?
What else should I look for. ( Besides a little more common sense,).

Wow, sorry man. I'll be surprised and impressed it it ever runs again. It's an older bike and may be better to walk away. Look for melted wiring and hoses. Check for spark, and fuel pressure, battery might be dead or weak. It could have ignited and burned your garage, call it lucky. Easy enough to open and look at Hall pick up wiring.

I'm fairly mechanically inclined.
With a little direction I think I could fix it. It turns over smoothly but does not fire up.
It's become a chance to redeem myself..lol.
Is there a good place to buy parts. Bmw guy.?

Start with fuel, hall unit, and other wiring. Rubber bits in the intake system probably leak now. Of course a new window. Please keep the thread going to share and ask for ideas.

I suspect every rubber part in the engine is done. All seals and orings are done. Alternator probably. Anything to report so far?
