Has anyone tried to replace their older (pre 05) top fairing/nose piece with the '05 or newer part?
I've pondered doing this in order to have the lower light that mounts where what appears to be an air duct/intake is on the older models.
If anyone has, was it a direct/bolt on replacement, or did you have to modify it, and if so, to what extent? :bmw:
