I ride a 06 K1200LT. It only has 10000 miles on it and I recently developed water leak that now seems like I has changed to oil. It only leaks after I return from a ride. My thoughts are this is related to the water/oil pump. Wondering if any one has experienced this before.
First of all sorry if i am starting something here that was discussed elsewhere already. Can i use 75w140 fully synthetic oil for both FD and transmission on my 2009 R1200RT? Also can i use any moly or is there a specific one?
Bike calls for 5w-40. Dealer put in 15w-50 at 6000 mile service. I've ridden nearly 3000 miles since then and I swear the shift assist does not work as well. No, I've not had the software upgrade as of yet, so the only variable is the change in oil viscosity.
