Trike Conversions in California

Hi, recently received my new to me 2005 K1200LT trike conversion from the dealer in Texas. Now I need to get it registered in California. Went to DMV today and they want to inspect the bike to check engine numbers or whatever. But since this is now a trike am I gong to have any problems ? Anyone done something similar in California ??

Re: Trike Conversions in California

It is still a BMW K1200LT just because you added a wheel should not change anything. But then you are in California (I hated the DMV).

This might help them find everything. Not sure where the Emissions label gets moved to since you don't have the saddle bag doors.
