Question The question is not how many?, but

I just noticed that my right rear taillight is burned out (brake light works), so the question is how do you get to the taillight bulb to change?? I crawled underneath, but no luck that way. I am guessing that you must remove the whole lens, by removing 3-4 nuts.

Open both side covers and you will see a bolt on each side about centered on the taillight assembly. Remove those two bolts and the whole assembly comes out.

Re: The question is not how many?, but

yes I do believe you will need to remove the tail light lens from the inside, 3-4 small nuts. I use 1/4" deepwell socket to tighten them up.
