Re: reversing lt with bushtech trailer on

For the most part I simply back it up using the reverse, it seemed a lot easier to me than unhooking and pushing the trailer around, although if you are with a group sometimes one of the group will do that for you. It is quite easy to back it up while on the bike, on the LT with reverse, not sure about a bike where you have to use your feet. Just got to remember to cut your handlebars the opposite way to the way you want the trailer to go. I found it easier than with a car as the trailer was so easy to see.

Re: reversing lt with bushtech trailer on

It's just like backing ANY trailer with a car. To go right turn left & left to go right. You may have to pull forward once to get a straight line back.

Anymore when I back up, I don't even need to turn my head. I can see the trailer in the bottom of my mirror, and just roll it out back with easy and without any trouble.

Re: reversing lt with bushtech trailer on

Bought my Bushtec Quantum in 2004.
Color-matched to my 2001 LT.
Trailer cover
Lid wing w/third LED brake light
Luggage rack
10-spoke wheels
Retractable tongue stand
Cooler package
Garment bag
Rear deck storage pockets
Map & document pouch
Large storage pouch
Interior light
Tire pump

* Didn't buy a spare tire, on recommendation from Bushtec.

Re: reversing lt with bushtech trailer on

All I added was the cooler on the front and a garment bag that fits to the inside of the lid. I was going to have the trailer paint locally to match the bike but ... white matches any color
