Trailer behind an R1100S?

I'm looking for hitches and single wheel trailers....so far I've only found the Uni-Go hitch. I'll probably go with a Uni-Mate trailer.

Any other R1100S riders out there that are towing a trailer? I'd love to hear your experiences.

TIA,
Jeff

Re: Trailer behind an R1100S?

This is incredible, well not incredible, but surprising to me that there are no other adventurous types out there who would consider towing behind an 1100S. I've got no responses from anyone who has done this, and not just on this forum. A few pointers to other forums that might have info, and thanks to those who responded thusly, but all to no avail. Even vendors have not been forthcoming with requests for info.

Maybe this IS a, hmmm, questionable project?

Anyone? bump.

Re: Trailer behind an R1100S?

I tow a Bushtec trailer behind my LT...It works GREAT...but, its really for my wife. When I'm racing around with the fast guys, it stays home.

That said, I have little experience with 'Sport Bike' towing. But, it does exist. I suspect you are simply asking the wrong group.

Attached is a pix of a K1200S...with Unigo trailer. VERY COOL!!

Check it out and check out more 'Sport Bike' sites.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Mr Townsend,

Thanks for the response! And I'm sure you are right; I'm asking the right questions but I probably have the wrong audience.

That K1200S looks PERFECT!

Anyhow, thanks for keeping the topic alive.

Best,

I didn't use as many words but I agree with and tried to convey everything JAT just said,
like myself a lot of other LT riders on this forum pull trailers
(I'm on trailer # 4 (Bushtec)

I'm sure you'll find every type of motorcycle including sport bikes
pulling all kinds of trailers in the trailer towing forum link that I put in my first post.
