I don't know what "cheap" would be. Call 'em and ask for their price:

Re: Uni Go trailer parts

Unless someone is parting one out your probably out of luck. It's not like they sell tens of thousands of them a year and an aftermarket industry sprung up to support them. The polished handle is $45.00 on the factory website. God knows what a chunk of polished alloy that size would cost you at a Harley or BMW dealer . If you want something cheaper you will probably need to visit a hardware store and cobble something up yourself .

Updated:

My Bad, that price was an option at order time. It's $108 for powder coated and $144 for polished. It's probably still cheap compared to HD and BMW.

Re: Uni Go trailer parts

Not to hijack the thread... but I actually managed to find a used unigo handle (brushed aluminum) through Ebay. I received it but it is not clear where/how to install it! I really thought the screws would match a spot on the trailer.

Any one have any experience installing the handle? Thanks.

I just got back to the shop late today and will check for the correct screws and instruction. Let you know tomorrow.

Handle instruction?

Instructions; you align the handle with the sides of the frame with the top of the handle base about ľ inch from the top, mark your hole and drill and tap with a 8X1.25 metric tap.

Re: Uni Go trailer parts

Thanks bulletbill! I did not realize that the handle still required tapping and drilling... surprised they did not work it in as a simple screw on job... I'll give it a go and report back on the results. Thanks again!

The handle was a late addition to the Unigo, so the unit prior to this addition were not prepared, as there were no handles. In the beginning we just used the lid as a balancing point.
