Handlebar mirrors KLT with trailer?

I need to mount a set of handlebar mirrors to my 06 KLT. I got the Bushtec hitch installed but the trailer is so wide I can't see around it. What kind of mirrors do you use and does anybody know of any for sale or have a set you want to sell?

Re: Handlebar mirrors KLT with trailer?

K 1200 RS mirrors are widely used as they fit right into the handlebar holes. They are not really much wider than the stock LT mirrors but they are higher up so they should solve your problem. Check this thread: http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showthre...62610#poststop

Ditto on the RS mirrors and I pull a Time out camper. With both mirrors you get a much better field of view behind you. You can get them at your dealer or watch ebay or check with Tony

+ 1 on the RS mirrors. I use them for checking road traffic and the original ones angled down so I can watch the Bushtec tires.

I installed the chrome mirrors off an R1200C. They fit perfectly into the existing mounting holes. I prefer the larger round type.

See link below for same discussion thread:

My comments have not changed:

This is a Saeng Quick-Scan that attaches to the fairing.
Mine are attached on the little winglets on either side of the fairing,
above the mirrors.

Great lateral and rear visibility.
Highly adjustable.
Mounted them on my 2001 LT almost eight years ago.
I tow a Bushtec Quantum trailer.

I only use the stock mirrors for backing up with the trailer attached. Still have to wire my backup alarm.

It is a Light Truck after all. BEEP BEEP BEEP.
