Got to take a test ride on a new Harley Triglide. The good: engineered to be a trike, and was the best handling trike I've ridden (that's a total of 5). The bad: powered by a air cooled V-twin.

I really don't understand why they didn't put the 'rod mill in it...

Anyway, it's a good, albeit expensive, option when considering three wheels..

Re: TriGlide

My guess, the v rod motor is not "traditional" enough for the hard core.

Re: TriGlide

Rumor has it that HD will be putting the V-rod motor into some of its baggers in the next few years. Speculation is that it's the motor of the future for HD.

There was a time when I couldn't not understand why anyone would choose the air cooled HD for touring when there were so many other fine choices. Now, looking at the complexities of the LT, I'm not so sure that simple isn't, in some ways, better. And they don't get much simpler than HD.
