Rumor has it that HD will be putting the V-rod motor into some of its baggers in the next few years. Speculation is that it's the motor of the future for HD.
There was a time when I couldn't not understand why anyone would choose the air cooled HD for touring when there were so many other fine choices. Now, looking at the complexities of the LT, I'm not so sure that simple isn't, in some ways, better. And they don't get much simpler than HD.
