Piggy Backer XL or Road Dog Widetrack Trailers

Am looking at a trailer for my LT. Only will use it once or twice a year, so I am looking at the lower end cost wise for a trailer. Have checked out the Piggy Backer XL and the Road Dog Widetrack Trailers, and both look like they might do the trick.

Any one with experience with either of these models? The Road Dog with its low profile 12" tires looks sharp, but the low cost of the Piggy Backer is also an advantage.

I've had a Piggy Backer XL for the last three years and so far have no real complaints. It tracks great and is water tight. It is what most would consider a value package - low cost and very functional.

Re: Piggy Backer XL or Road Dog Widetrack Trailers

I am looking for a trailer myself....I know a couple of people with the road dog,
and the general consensus is the low center of gravity and low profile is the way to go.
the comments I get are great trailer, great quality etc...and the looks arent bad either compared to the piggy backer...

Everything you've ever wanted to know about towing a trailer
and every imaginable trailer in the world.
And another for the do-it-yourself-ers

For what it's worth, I'm on trailer # 4,
and nothing beats a Bushtec.
