Calling All Trikes

For those Trike Riders who will be attending the BMW MOA Rally in Gillette, it occured to several of us that we should have a gathering of Trikes while at the Rally. It would be nice to see how many we can get todgether, share info and create a crowd (You know everyone wants to get a good look even if they won't admit it). I suggest we gather at the parking area on Saturday July 19th around 9AM and then take a ride to Devils Tower, returning in early afternoon. We could also do the same thing at CCR.
Who's interested???

Add your name to the list and let us know which Rally you will attend.

I'll see you at 9:00 AM on July 19! Thanks for putting this together. If enough trikes show up, perhaps MOA will move our trike sub-forum out of hiding! <g> I will also be on a golden 2005 Hannigan/K LT.

Re: Calling All Trikes

Randi, that would be good at CCR. I will not be at Gillette, but will be in Utah with the 2000 LT trike. Maybe a good ride would be to Park City and neighboring ski resort parking lots, chuckle!

All the best.

I won't be there until Wednesday afternoon. How about Thursday at 10AM in the main parking area?

Re: Calling All Trikes

Ok, Thursday 10 AM is ok with me. I don't know all the schedule of events yet, though, but a plan is a plan! Chuckle! I am bringing a friend with a H-D trike, I don't want any of you to make fun of them! They are best friends and also very, very nice people! Just wear your earplugs, chuckle! Hey Randi, will it be your wife, or your grandson!

Looks like my wife won't get the time off so, my grandson Robby will be with me. He's 11. We'll be staying at the Heber Valley RV Park. See you there.

Hi Randi,
I just heard that the Hannigans will be at the MOA Rally. Maybe one or both of them would like to ride with us to the Devil's Tower. If not, perhaps we can gather the trikes near the Vendor area at a pre-determined time to show them some support.

Jerry, the trick when riding with Harley guys is to stay in front of them.

My plans have changed and I'm now going to arrive at CCR on Tuesday the 26th and I'm staying at the resort, not camping. See you there.

I will check in at the Hannigan booth when I arrive in case there are last minute changes. There's a chance that I might not be able to stay for the ride to the Devil's Tower on Saturday. If that turns out to be the case, I will leave a message with the Hannigans. In any event, I hope there wil be a good crowd to make the ride.

I had no interest in trikes until the CCR in MO last Summer. Until then I thought trikes were dangerous and slow, like the old H-D meter maid trikes of old. Now I know better and am having a ball, though I do miss my R12RT, a lot!

Re: Calling All Trikes

Just let us know your plans. I'll be checking the posts. Hannigans said they were very busy and probably won't make the ride. Hope to see you there at MOA.

Re: Calling All Trikes - MOA Update

I saw several trikes in the parking lot and even left a message on the seat of one of them but,.... nobody showed up on Saturday for the ride to Devils Tower. I was in front of the flag poles by registration from 9:15AM until 10:30AM. Sorry I missed you guys.
