Unhappy Fender Bra ?

My trike was built by Hannigan
They do not have a bra to fit their fenders like some others do.........
What are y'all using ?
I tried that clear plastic but it almost looks worse..........

Truck bed liner in a rattle can!!

Sirius - I'm fixin' to do that to ole Toad's chin fairing. I'm tired of looking at all the road chips and lost paint down there. May even go on around to the lowers. I don't know where all those scrapes came from - I don't lean ole Toad that far to drag parts; butt they're there and they're ugleeee!

Grif has done ?handlebars?, and fairing parts. Sez "bring on the rocks and the roadkill!!!". Looks good, too.

Smile Fender Bra

I have the Hannigan trike also. I wish that Hannigan had a fender bra for it. I went the 3M clear material route. The only drawback to it is that the people putting it on don't try to cover everything. There are just too many rounded curves, crevices, and bends to be able to cover everything like it should be.
So far, the 3M stuff seems to be holding up where it's applied. There are dings, nicks, etc on the places where it isn't.

I guess to prevent those, you'd need to get the LT repainted, (custom stripes, etc if you want them), then have the whole thing shrink wrapped and sealed to protect the paint. That'd do it.

I actually sewed a vinyl bra for the front fender of my '02. It is a compound curve, so it took some doing to get it right, but it held fine for a whole lot of miles. It would still be there except that the fender itself started to crack between the painted and black parts, so I replaced it with a larger fender from an RT-P.

I still have the pattern at home, but I'm working 1,000 miles north of there at the moment so I don't have easy access to it.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Got 'em

While on our 9,000 mile trip, I found a guy in Arkansas that made a pattern and sewed up a beautiful pair of fender bras for me.........................................
