Help to cross Nevada?

Working on a route to the BMWMOA National in Oregon, looking at crossing Nevada from Panaca to 93, 93 to 375, 375 to 6, 6 to CA, or 6 to 95 north. Any big positive or negatives ??

Re: Help to cross Nevada?

You may want to consider a route coming up the east side of the Sierras instead?

Nevada can be brutal in the summer, BUT, you can literally fly since you can see the fuzz - there's no place to hide! I remember cruising on the LT doing the ton for several hours at a time fully loaded - amazing. 75 felt like I was crawling after that.

Re: Help to cross Nevada?

You could also go a little farther north on 93 and cross on 50. Nice road as I have done it in both directions. Don't know if it is any better than the route you proposed but I enjoyed it.

We have done 50 in both directions, so just looking for a different route, looking at this route seemed like there were some passes so I was hoping the temps would not be two bad??
