Thanks, Gilles. No chance to ride today, but I went up and wandered around the Malibu mountains for a few hundred yesterday.

Howdy, Jim. Hope your Birthday was just what you ordered. And take a 'rain check' for the Birthday Ride - ride safe, and Happy Birthday.

On the Tiger? Or have you managed to get that Ural out from behind the boat finally.

Glad you enjoyed the day.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Re: Hey old man Jim!!!

On the Tiger.

I think I have found a home for the boat, finally. And, we are in the process of buying a little place in Arrowhead so the Ural is going to live there. Much better roads for that type of bike up there. It just isn't happy on the freeways.

Re: Hey old man Jim!!!

Hope you had a good birthday Jim. I think the Ural will like Arrowhead (who wouldn't).

Re: Hey old man Jim!!!

Thanks, Doug.

We found a small place up there that actually has a garage. Turns out that is a rarity in the mountain communities. Everyone just parks on the street. The cabin is built on top. The garage is the same size as the house with doors that open in so when the snow plow goes by and buries the front you can still get in without a bunch of digging. Problem is that it is a short sale so the paperwork is taking months.

Nice. When's the first BBQ?

Don't worry about paperwork delays too much. Once it's done, you'll forget all about that and just enjoy it.

With a garage the same size as the house it will be perfect for a wrenching party! Good test area close by after the upgrades! LOL :B

Looks great enjoy and as Ken says once it closes and you start enjoying it all that paperwork hassle will fade away!

Re: Hey old man Jim!!!

Very nice Jim! Have thought many times about dumping the motorhome and getting a cabin. Thats nice having a secure garage like that also. Looking forward to the spring BBQ!

Re: Hey old man Jim!!!

Doug, if you are at all interested in getting something up there it is a good time. With the 210 freeway open now it is an hour and a half from door to door for us. Prices are as low as they have been in years. Probably not a good time to be selling a motorhome on the other hand.

Re: Hey old man Jim!!!

I may look at that option after the new year. Just finishing up a 3yr complete house remodel (feels like being in jail) and am looking forward to being able to just get on one of the bikes and go! I love the 210 also, great way to get out of here quick! Be fun to see your place.
