Question Sunpass

Hey all;

We just moved here finally. We live in Loxahatchee and I take the turnpike to Ft Lauderdale to work. I now mount the sunpass on the top of the tank. Can I mount this in the trunk like some others can in different states? Also with the rain Im sure its not water proof. I wear "stich" clothing can I leave it in the jacket will it pick it up?

Thanks all

Zeke

I keep my Ezpass (NY's version of the Sunpass) in the small pocket of the Chicane Tank Bag. Never a problem. I thought about mounting it on the bike but was afraid of it "disappearing" while parked someplace. It could still happen in the tank bag but it's out of sight.

Your post/profile didn't indicate what model bike you have but a friend with a GS puts his in a plastic bag and clips it to his handlebars. Stays protected from the weather and claims it works everytime. My sunpass doesn't seem to work too well so I ride around the gate! Hope to see ya on the local roads!

May just be the Toll Plazas I hit on my commute.
I keep mine in the clear plastic cover of the Chicane tankbag where it works about 80% of the time.
I ride on a lot of the same roads Dave does (Suncoast Parkway) and I'm just wondering if you get the same letters along with the picture of you license plate from the bypass lane at the Spring Hill toll booth?
