Da Chairskin, passing through Alabama ....

Hello, boyuz......

I'm wondering what you fine folks can tell me about alternate routes through Alabama. I'f I'm needing to blow and go on the slab, and am out of New Orleans toward Atlanta, should I take the high road through Birmingham or the low road through Montgomery?

OR, is there a better route that will still allow me to burn off the miles?

I like the southern route

I just moved from Montgomery to Spokane. But, when i was in Montgomery, family lived in South La. I traveld the I-10 to I-65 corridor very often. I love that route. You can let her rip on the leg between Mobile and Montgomery, then hit 85 to Atlanta -- same thing on that leg. All the roads are good. I never took the Nothern route, but I can recommend a good ride on the southern side.

Hey Barrett,

No recommendations but just a heads up that there is ALWAYS radar on that lower loop around Birmingham.
