Re: Georgia Mountain Rally

Plenty of great riding roads in the area. It's a well organized rally. They've been doing it a long time and it shows. Camping (tent) is included in registration fee whether you camp or not. RV sites are extra. Saturday night dinner is great. Never mind the fact that while I type this I just happen to be wearing my volunteer shirt from the 2011 GMR though.

Re: Georgia Mountain Rally

Wonderful rally. Great riding nearby. "As you like it" steak Sat. night. The campground is lovely - right on Lake Chatuge. Highly recommended.

Would have been nice to see a non-camp option for those that would hotel.

it will rain, it always rains, it will be cold, it always gets very cold, so prepare for that and the rest will be fine, roads are nice, but when raining be careful, it's a fun small rally, I like it, b but now we only live about 40 miles from it I guess

Logistically I think that would be a nightmare for the rally staff. There is a Ramada next to the property and has a short walking path to the fairgrounds.

Re: Georgia Mountain Rally

Just a reminder that this year’s Georgia Mountain Rally is less than two weeks away. Long range weather forecast is good. Pre-registration is still open and saves $10 over the on-site walk-in price. More details and sign-up here: GMR
