NC motorcycle State Surplus auction

Hey guys,

The NC Motorcycle Safety Education Program will be holding a surplus auction on Saturday Dec. 1, 2012 at 9 a.m. Address is 602 W Harper St. Snow Hill, NC 28580. Auction will include 41 retired training motorcycles, including honda Rebels, Yamaha Viragos, Suzuki GZ250s, and honda Nighthawks (the majority of the bikes).

They are all 250cc motorcycles - great first bikes if you know someone that needs one cheap. Most of these bikes are not ready to license - most will need at least some maintenance (carb cleanings mostly) and some will need a few parts (signals, levers, etc) to get them road ready. Not every bike will need all parts, just some will need a few pieces to make complete. These are the bikes that have been returned to the state office and need to be sold so we have room to bring more bikes in as we try to get rid of the older bikes.

Auction terms are:
Terms: Cash/Checks

If paying by check: The titles to the motorcycles will be sent via FedEx once the check has cleared the bank.

Items will be sold on an as is, where is, cash basis and must be removed from the premises immediately after the sale.

Minimum bids may be set on some items.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL!! NO GUARANTEE IS GIVEN AND THERE SHALL BE NO RECOURSE AGAINST LENOIR COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR DEFECTIVE GOODS SOLD AT THIS AUCTION.

Auction conducted by LCC auctioneering students,
Ms. Josie Graves, Instructor

If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected]. The administration folks are not letting me answer questions about what runs, how good it runs, etc. in the interest of fairness. No internet bidding. Must be here in person.

A list of auction bikes is at http://ncmotorcyclesafety.org/

Come on out if you can make it - low reserves on bikes with low miles.
