Just tell us if you don't want to have lunch with us

but don't send me on a wild goose chase....

From the Eats thread

"we'll do lunch at Sonny's BBQ just up US-41, approximately a mile or so about 1400".

From the Atlanta Motorcycle Show Thread

"In the EATS thread we said 1400, i.e. 2:00PM for UT graduates, at the Sonny's north of the Galleria on 41. Do you have to have someone hold your hand to get you there?? "

Well it seems that Dave Dragon, Dave friend, James Langley and myself when to Sonny's Bar B Que, Hwy 41 north of Galleria, just above the BMW Motorcycle of Atlanta, near the famous Big Chicken..

The funny part, Dave mention to lady that Steve had reserved an area for us and she said" right this way to your table" well about 1415 (2:15) and three glasses of sweet tea later, we decided to go ahead and order, we did and had a great meal and fellowship, just the three of us...

Now, I get this cell call from Brett saying that the gang is at Sonny's Bar B Que having lunch..... ok your telling me that there is two (2) Sonny's Bar B Ques on Hyw 41, north of Galleria?

BTW, enjoyed seeing you guys today at the motorcycle show and Dave and James enjoyed having lunch with you.

Now, for the real story!

Yes, we were SUPPOSED to have gotten together for lunch at Sonny's BBQ, but SOME of our beloved SE Forum group went to the WRONG Sonny's BBQ!

Now, if you all DIDN'T want to have lunch with US, You should have said something! LOL

I will post pic of the HOST Sonny's BBQ (later) with the guy who STATED where Sonny's is at! I am not going to mention his name but he lives in Snellville!

Seriously, we missed y'all.

Missed lunch

Now how did I go wrong. I thought I said one light north on Cobb Pkwy, US-41, to first light and left on Spring Rd. Then it would be on the right. Sorry, we really missed you paying for lunch Don. That is was you told Brent on the phone, right??

We caught up with Dave and James at BMW of Atlanta and managed to see Perry Ridgeway too. Dave got his battery replace and he and James headed out towards Huntsville.

We managed to spend a little money at the show today. Connie got a new flip front helmet by Vega. I got overpants that match my new jacket. Connie decide she liked the Kawasaki Vulcan 750 and Honda 600 Shadow. We had to run up to BMW of Atlanta to let her check out a F650CS with lowered shocks. We'll see where this ends up.

That's fine, but WHICH Saturday, which Cracker Barrel and which Outback?!? Is this another puzzel too? I want to go on record today as having been in the right place at the right time for a change!

The cracker barrel by the interstate with rocking chairs on the front porch and the Outback is just north of there a couple of miles next eixt.

I believe me and James and Dave where at the right place and right time, the lady had the table reserved, so she said.

All kidding aside, I kept saying, wonder where those guys are and surely looks like Steve would show, since he made the plans..

I guess next time we'll need GPS corrdinates.

Lets give a good ole Homer Simpson "Dohhhh!" We were thinking "Now where are those boys at?" I had no idea there were two Sonny's on 41 north of the show either. Oh well, GPS coordinates next time! Glad to see everyone, Janie had a good time and she can't wait for CCR. She says" Those guys are funny!" Did not have the heart to tell her we are just plain crazy most of the time! Soon as it warms up a bit I need to get he on the back of the bike for some riding time. Until the next RTE ride safe.

looking around for a possible replacement

Talking Missed lunch

Well gents, my bummed up knee had all it could take by shortly after noon and I just plain headed home. But I do remember going by a Hooters on Cobb Pkwy and thought you could have had it there. :-)

As for the knee, I did it walking, or that is trying to, not riding.

I brought that up John, but with John Rehder having his new SO with him and since Connie came along, we didn't need that grief. Sorry we missed you this time. I'll make a ride out east soon and we'll have a cup a joe or something.
