Smile LT BootCamp

Hello, I'm new to the thread. I live in Greenville SC and have heard about a LT bootcamp that is coming up where you can go and learn about LT's for a couple of days. Can anyone out there comment on this ????

Thanks

Question

The STC sounds fun and a way to get some miles on my new rig. Question: Are other bikes and bikers welcome or is this event just for us fortunate LT owners (my riding buddies/budetts ride Harleys)?

Well... May have to put that to a vote.

I think I read in one of the post that anyone is welcome.

See you there.

Although I'm a proud LT owner...I will be on my Ninja at STC for Riders.

The event used to be called "LT Spring Training Camp". The name was changed so that ALL would feel welcomed. I have chosen to carry the torch for all non-LT riders at this year's event.

Talking Thanks for the feedback !!

I just booked 3 nights at the Two Wheel Inn for April 20-23. The nice folks at Iron Horse said that they were sold out of rooms, however one can still come and participate in the LT clinics !!

Hope to meet all you asphalt junkies out there.

Ekim, thanks while the Ironhorse Lodge is sold out with cabins and RV spaces, there is plenty of camping, on the web site link there is other choices of motels... the nearest is the Tuskeegee Motel www.tuskeegeemotel.com old, but clean, several (from last year) are staying there by choice, they have large room with for sharing as well as kitchenettes... the site will tell you...

Hope you guys can may it...

Yes!!! They're called "OEM pipes". I know you're just joking...but for the sake of the forum, Harleys come with VERY nice sounding, relatively quiet pipes. I loved the sound of my brother's 2000 dresser. Very nice tone. Why anyone would want to screw up that sound with aftermarket pipes is beyond me.

Then again, my ZX-11 Ninja doesn't have the stock pipes. But I replaced the stock pipes with the stock pipes from a Kaw ZZR1200. Gave me a slightly lower tone, helped the motor breathe a little better, and they look nicer. But they are still quiet. I believe in STEALTH MODE. I don't want to be heard by the pokey from 5 miles away.
