It hit 78 in Atlanta and I took full advantage of it. Will do so tomorrow as well.

May we never find the end of the road!

80 something here yesterday... After we got back from the Mall & furniture store (had to spend time with the wife/family), it was bath day for the LT. It no longer feels like it has a 600 grit finish!

Today, 84 is forecast and it time to put more bugs on the windshield!

Yep; geat day for a demo! I've been researching a few sport tourers for a while after my Harley Roadking bothered my back, and coming off a 04 ST1300. I have to get into another slightly leanforward riding position. Well Today finally got time and oppportunity to demo 06 FJRae. I figured w/ the new heat management, it'd be good tourer w/ the extra power. As soon as i took it out, I noticed the hard throttle, abrupt acceleration, slightly jerky, felt more of the bike also, but the real turnoff was the Heat at my ankles. I was wearing insulated ankle boots, and felt them hot uncomfotably hot and it was only 68deg! I couldnt do long days w/ this bike. One block away was the BMW dealer, and was able to confirm the better ride of the K/GT of which I'de tested a week before. Yep; It confirmed it. Hardley any heat, some abruptness, but could get used to it. Way less heat and bar pressure than my ST1300. I might be able to buy 06(blue) if i dont wait too long.
Howie...

Don't say that John, or I may decline to head back north until spring. Come to think of it, I still have to ride my bike south for the holidays.

It's a crisp 11 here, with -2 forecasted overnight. But that's those funny C degrees anyway.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Nope, Wales. Cold but dry, but no bike this time out.
