Father's Day at Iron Horse

Jean up and surprised me with an offer to ride up to Iron Horse Lodge on Saturday and have some prime rib. Then spend the night get up, have breakfast and ride home. Every once in a while she comes up with a winner!! Tammy found us a cabin so we are all set.

Enjoy your stay John. A few of us are planning to go white water rafting near the Iron Horse this summer & stay sat. night & have the famous dinner. Hopefully next month.

Re: Father's Day at Iron Horse

Made it up to Iron Horse. Played storm chaser all the way up to Telico Plains, The sad part is I thought is would be hot and dry so left the rain liners at home. Now the boots are on the boot dryer, we got soaked three times really good. Had a great Coney dog at Mike's wifes shop in Telico and followed it up with some great ice cream sundaes. Sitting here sipping a tottie waiting for the prime rib, mmmm I can almost taste it.

Almost left our liners yesterday. We did hit some rain but the rain was too inviting so the liners stayed in the panniers!

I hoped you ate some PR for us poor folks

Re: Father's Day at Iron Horse

We ate plenty. John and Charliene ate with us and we had our miniatures before dinner and wine with so it was a great meal. And yes I had a CBS.

On the way home we could not find a cooling rain shower anywhere. It was only 92 when we hit Chattanooga and the house felt like a fridge when we got home. Great trip.

Will have to check out the Farmer's Daughter place you ate at Brett, it sound interesting.
