Tenn. Hwy 360 ???

Hi All,
Next weekend we’re going to take a three day holiday and go out to Robbinsville, NC. We’re going to stay at the Blue Water Mountain Lodge, wonderful place and outstanding food.

Our plan for Saturday is to ride 129 (the Dragon) over to Vonore then 360 to Tellico Plains then the Cherohala back to Robbinsville.

My question is this, has anyone recently ridden Hwy. 360. is it a good ride or should we pick another route.

Thanks in advance,

Smith

Re: Tenn. Hwy 360 ???

It's been a year since I was on it but the pavement was excellent and it is a nice easy but scenic drive. I recommend it.

If you're going through Tellico you might want to stop by this place. I've never been there but have spoke to Mike on the phone several time. Real nice guy and very helpful.

360 is a good road, a few curves and little traffic, when there is slow traffic, good road to pass.

Never have seen any LEO's but.........................with all of the THP on 129, don't be surprised if you see one or two.

Re: Tenn. Hwy 360 ???

360 is a great road, good pavement and not real busy. when coming out of Vonore going south make sure you turn right and go over the small bridge and don't go straight onto Citico Rd, it kind of dead ends in about 5 miles nice ride but you have to turn around and come back the same way. Let me know when you are up this way I live in Madisonville just down the street from Vonore. Brian

Re: Tenn. Hwy 360 ???

360 used to have nice pavement until about three months ago...

Now it has brand new pavement...
Well about one inch thick asphault sealant.
Still smooth like a super models butt.
