Tellico Sprint Triathlon Moto Support

Not desperate yet, BUT, Melissa and I are officiating a triathlon...which incidently happens to be the state championship for the sprint series...in Vonore, Tennessee (just outside of Knoxville) this Sunday July 1st at 8:00am, and the Race Director is just now informing us that, although he is still "working on it" he is having trouble coming up with moto support for the bike portion of the race...a fine time to be finding this out! If you've ever done this sort of thing before, then you know that quiet MC's are the ride of choice, so I thought I'd throw a line in the water to see if anybody in the area would be willing to show up for a few hours to provide support for this event. We need two, one to haul my big behind and one to take Melissa out on the bike course for a couple of laps of a 15-mile course. Would need to be on station 7:00am-10:00am at the MasterCraft Boat Company Plant in Vonore, $25.00 gas money provided, so if interested either PM me or give me a call at 931-581-3436.

Dang that sounds like fun. I've done a couple down here in GA and would love to do this one. BUT, since this is Sunday preceeding July 4, I need to be in church for musical reasons.

Appreciate the gesture, Steve, and I understand. I'm betting we'll be astride a couple of Hogly Fergusons, but that'll work too I suppose.

I am in Murphy, NC.

I would be interested in doing this sort of thing once in a while.

Please keep me in mind for the future.

How did it work out, y know the reason was probably because there was a bike race in Memphis, I know a few of the moto ref's were headed that way this weekend
