LTs on the road, and vacation ride report.

Over vacation, I saw an LT on I81 between wytheville anbd BRistol on 5/27; a red LT at Deals Gap on 5/28, and a Red LT in Bristol VA on 6/2. Would any of those been any of us?

Saw a few others, but can't remember the details.

Had a great time with the bike out in Pigeon Forge TN. Rode Deals Gap and also rode thru Dandridge TN on hwy 92. Nice ride.

Went UP Fancy Gap Mtn, US52 North in VA. The site of my crash a year ago. Was kinda emotional, first time up it on a motorcycle since my crash, but this time, I made it thru with no foul effects (yay me).

The LT just gets better every ride. I was caravanning with the wife and kids, who were in the car, and was thinking I could go further at every stop. Just a few aches and pains. Butt ache from my weight more than anything else. Only issue is really where my legs go over the edge of the seat. Found that by moving around on bike a bit, I could prolong each leg of the trip. And changing the seat height at a stop would help too, to vary the seating position.

Bike performed flawlessly.

I was up in Pigeon Forge a couple of years ago; nice ride all the way around.

I've found the AirHawk seat cushion to be a real butt saver on longer rides. After about 4 hours my stock seat compesses to the point where I've got 1mm of cusion between me and the pan.

I-81

We spent a week on White Top Mountain 5/25-6/4 and traveled I-81 almost everyday. Blue 07Lt instead of Red.

I left Bristol on the morning of 05/27/07 heading out on I-81 toward Dublin, then up to Lewisburg, WV. I spent 4 days riding in the mountain of WV. I was absolutely great. I was on the GAP on 05/26/07. I have a Toscana Green 2002.
