Re: Miami BMW

Zeke, FYI, the first thing that you should do to look for your information, is to go into the "Dealer Experience" section of the forum, and do a search. I took a quick look for you, and here are some that you will want to read and make your own judgement:

Re: Miami BMW

I used them for warranty work. Nice place but they are in business to make money. If you want to discuss issues directly to their technicians they won't let you. You talk to service writer then he talks to technician and he gets back to you. You never really know what actually transpired. They charged me 30 minutes labor once for warranty work because I installed a switch for aux lighting in the vicinity of the area they had to remove a panel to replace a part. I was upset. I knew this was a scam because I installed the lights and switches in a way for easy removal when I needed to remove the panel. They just wanted to make money on warranty work from the customer. They did have good technicians back when I used them a while back. Probably 2 years ago. Nice dealership and nice people up front but they don't give deals. Hope that helps.

I see your not far from the BMW dealer in West Palm Beach. Broward Motor Sports of Palm Beach. I never used them for service but have purchased parts.

My opinion on the dealership in Broward, 441 in Plantation Florida was horrible. They screwed up my first servicing on my RT. Never again. They gave me a coupon for a discount on first service but upped the labor cost. It would have been cheaper with no coupon.
The technician filled my final drive to the top of the fill hole instead to the correct level. I could have blown the shafts seals if it was not for my vent valve doing its job. He made a bloody mess after the crankcase oil change. When I got home I thought I had a oil leak. I had to wash the engine down and look for a non existent leak. Never again. They suck!

I purchased my RT from the dealership in Ft. Meyers.
Family owned and they treat you like family. Worth the ride and time to have them work on the bike. You can talk directly to the technicians. Nice dealership and clean well organized. You won't be disappointed.
