Do You need an Excuse for a ride?

Looking for someone near Hickory, NC to check out and test ride an 04 GS Adventure for me. If machine checks out, I want to pick it up when I come east for CCR. Only have a few days to decide. Weekend ride???

Please PM me or call 209/7476453

Dang Doug, I was close by Hickory around 3 this afternoon. I sure would have loved to help you out. I won't be back there until next weekend.

Thanks for offers to help and to Dave for endorsement.

Jay Slomka (jayz9705) is going to check Saturday and make sure bike really exists before I pay for it sight unseen. Hook up with him if you are looking for a ride destination.

Anybody got a suggestion how to get bike from Hickory to CCR so I can have Raffy haul it to California?

Love this site and all its great members.
thanks Again

If you get to CCR by Sunday, you can drop off the 3 LTs at the Chateau, then head out and bring your bike back. Not sure what the distance is and if you can do a round trip in one day.

Please don't feel slighted Brother Jay. I was on a fast run from Atlanta to Greensboro, NC to be on a conference call. I just made it as it was. If I had known about Doug's request I'd have had to make that call on the cell phone on the bike. Not my idea of a smart thing to do.

I'm waiting for a request for assistance from my buddies up in Johnson City. Then I'll be knocking on your door for a place to .

Steve

You got it, my friend. That is as long as it's not a race weekend, and someone else has extra tickets for the race!

Aw, heck......we'll find a way to put ya' up anyway!!

doug, I just saw this, sorry about that, heck I'm up that way quite often, I live in Dahlonega, I'll be busy this weekend though if you have not purchased that bike yet, If you have purchased that bike and need a place to store it till you get here for CCR , I have room and much closer to CCR, I think Dragon can vouch the bike would be safe here till you pick it up, let me know if I can help you can PM me if you like
