STC folks...remember this guy

This past weekend I rode some off road and scenic roads in WNC and Bryson City....

Well on Friday I took a guy on some Blue Ridge Parkway rides and roads...at one point while on the BRP a movie production crew was shooting a scene from a movie...well we ran across our ole friend "Lance" "Dukes of Hazard" guy...

For those not in attendance at STC...Lance is an author and movie location manager....that gave us a nice presentation of movie productions in WNC, last year at STC II... for riders..

Here is a link my friends web site (vstrom site) Brendon got a few nice shots of the couple of days of riding...they are in two different posts on his site... so scroll down to second post about our ride... BTW I took the 1150GS on the off road for about 200 miles trip...that just about whipped me good...as matter of fact...it did...I took to the paved roads the second day....

For those that remember, I was the lucky one to win the autographed copy of Lance's book.

It is actually quite entertaining, as well as very informative. The history of the whole Fontana region is captivating, and the reasons for the area being the way it is are so unexpected, as to make the area quite unique. It also doesn't hurt that Lance is a very riviting author with a talent for making what could be a dry topic very engrossing and entertaining.
