Breakfast for Dick

Last Sunday Dick was on old Toad for the first time in about a year. Since he is back on two wheels he wanted to go to trudy's on 290 so we will just for Dick.

I need to service my bike before I go so I will NOT lead a ride out. I'll be there at 9:00.

9:00am

Trudy's
13000 Highway 290 West,
Dripping Springs, TX

I would love to be there, just to meet Dick in the flesh. You also Steve, but mostly Dick.

But since there is ice and snow here still, I will only be there in spirit, have a great ride!

Backatcha, John - be my pleasure to meet you also. Y'all have had a rough winter, so I know you're anxious for some sun and warm temps. Hang in there - they be coming soon. Best always.

Would if I could, Brian - for sure. We've never made it that far west, and the planets gotta get lined up real proper for us to even think about it. Butt, we're ever hopeful. Thanks for the invite - rain check for now tho!

Hey, Dan - it's been too long since we've met up. Maybe we oughta do an RTE at the ?Brazo's Belle? restaurant (can't think of the exact name) in Burton. We haven't done that one again since back in the day!!

Have a great trip to Italy. Lots of gelato flavors to enjoy, and some really good eats on the Tuscany side. Driving will give you that 'deer in the headlight' look, so wear dark glasses so Kathy'll think you've got everything under control. :historic: Shout when you guys get back home.

Suzane and I were just down there this M-W. Don't expect I can drag her back this fast. Will look for Dick, Toad, and the crew at the March RTE.

Eric,
Stevie, Sammie, Tanya, and I will be there rain or shine. Tanya and I are driving down, as the weather looks iffy for the return trip. Looks like you're getting some rain up your way.

We will be here until June 2015 and she is certainly welcome anytime (you too) The next gig has not yet been decided. Stay tuned... I started working for a German consulting firm but they operate worldwide, so I can work from most anyplace.

Re: Breakfast for Dick

Dang, I'm going to have to pass this Sunday. It's 8 degrees and snowing up here in the Panhandle, so I can't really get out just right now.

However, certain recent events will probably be putting myself and my bike in the Austin area this spring and summer.

Maybe I could hook up with ya'll then.

Hey, Dan. Thanks for the iPhone pic by e'mail. Brought back memories of Cheryl's visit to the Vatican, and lots of Italy, several years ago.

Yeppir - made it to Trudy's and back to Boerne in La Thundra. My friend Bill and I made the decision Saturday eve to take a cage, cuz the wx guessers were having a hard time deciding on what wuz gonna happen WHEN. Thank God we did the truck (as most of the other attendees did also), cuz that Polar Vortexation thang blew in about 3 hours earlier than forecast, and it wuz high-speed windshield wipers on the way home!! 23 degrees here at the casa this morning!!

Nice to meet Wimberley GS-rider Mike for the first time. And of course, Stevie wuz there, along with Buda Jim and lovely wife Deb, and JimE and lovely wife Tanya, and Eric Prall (sans lovely wife, Barb). Nice menu for breakfast, and a great buffet setup. I gotta talk Cheryl into downsizing her lunch menu so I can partake of buffets like that one! Gotta feelin' that ain't gonna happen, so I may have to curtail my Sunday outings.
