So, you've turned Toad into a pilotless drone, I see. I knew you'd been doing a lot of work, but I had no idea...

Maybe it was that new wiring harness what done it for him. Quite the upgrade, I'd say.

Hey, we're good to go now. Had to learn how to ride (and the tangential things one does to be on point) again; how to don ATGATT; and how to stop!!!

Having a leetle learning curve to master, with the helmet D-rings on my new helmet - have always had snap connections on previous 5 or 6 helmets, so D-rings are NTM. We'll get that done with practice, or else may attach a pair of suspenders to the D-rings and anchor 'em to my belt!!

Anyway, figger wherever Toad goes, so go I, and Toad likes the parking at Granny D's, so we'll be there. Like Stevie sez - great weather for a change.

You guys are killing me:
1. You get to ride this time of year (see the annual/multiple threads on this site about us Northerners commiserating about the snow and ice).
2. Dick and his LT, in the same place at the same time, and he's riding it. I'd like to have seen that when I visited you folks last year.

Howard, no one's actually seen him riding it. There is a school of thought that he's just trailering it around and posing as a motorcyclist. We'll get there early on Sunday and see if we can capture some video. But I'm afraid it's a lot like getting indisputable video evidence of Bigfoot.

Hey, we had snow and ice a while ago! Plenty! I think it was for, like, almost five hours.

I'll tell you what... I work at Fort Knox, but home is still SE Ohio. I headed for home after work today, got 70 miles into the 300 mile trip, had to turn around because of the freakin' SNOW and ICE and FREEZING RAIN. And I'm driving a 4WD truck. So now I'm stuck away from home. On a long weekend.

if I had my bike down here (Kentucky) with me I'd consider heading south for the weekend, for your RTE... but the bike is back at home. Snowed in, in the garage.

STC will be a very welcome trip!

Well, you may have to meet ole Thundra instead of ole Toad. Riding decision will be made at o-dark thirty tamale. Wx dude sez rain in the morning here (figgers, since all vehicles were washed yestiday!) and since I'm just learning how to ride - again - I'll keep ole Toad high and dry for the time being. Sammies Backing out too but I'll be there. In fact Jim E posted the ride on the HCBMWR site & we will have about 16 folks there. I've already call ahead to let granny know & we will have the room to the right side for our group.
