New Tire Machine Coming

The No-Mar works but it has become more work then I want to mess with any more so it will be up for sale. I have about $1200.00 invested into the No-Mar & will take $500 just to move it out.
HERE IS THE WEAVER that I am getting. I should be set up to resume doing tires in about a month.

Steve, changing as many tires as you do, I can't blame you. That looks like a great machine.
It is always a wrestling match to do the tires with a manual machine like the No-Mar or HF and when you reach a mature age like Steve, it gets even harder

First the compliment to soften him up, and then the little jab to get back at him.

Nice purchase, Steve. You'll have even more friends!

When it's hot, he gets real sweaty and dirty and has that lube stuff all over him and it's almost like watching mud wrestling.

The horror...

The No-Mar is sold & going to a good home down Houston way. I'm sure it will get good usage there.
I should be picking my new one up next week in Ft Worth.

Re: New Tire Machine Coming

I went to pickup my Tire Changer yesterday. I was able to buy it from the same warehouse as Weaver buys from so I got a big discount over the normal price. I also bought a roll around low profile stand from a Member here so I can move the machine in & out of a storage closet in my Garage. Thanks David (dpancerz) the stand works great . I did have to use some 1 1/2 inch square tubing under the machine to raise it up in the stand so the pedals would work. I still need to bolt the machine to the stand. The wider foot print in the front because of the wheel being on the sides of the machine make it seam more stable.
This is very nice machine & I can not wait to do a few tires. I'm still waiting on my Marc Parns balancer as Marc is on Vacation till next Friday. Here are a few Pics on the stand & the machine.

Rear wheels

Front wheels, Note all wheels will lock to keep from rolling.

How many times do you think you will hit your head on that top horizontal piece?

None as it is taller then I am plus it is set back a good foot from the front of the machine. Now that I have fully jinxed myself I'll hit it many times.

Most things are!!!!!! J/K!! Congrats on the new toy. Return of capital shouldn't take long, especially if you got a discounted price. Good luck.

You took those works right out of my mouth, Dick. (but then on second thought, I probably shouldn't jump on that bandwagon because I might be wanting Steve to use his new toy for a tire on my LT some time...)

Anyway, congrats again Steve. It's all shiny and everything, with that new-tire-machine smell. I do want to see it in action sometime, as I'm thinking it would be even easier than a No-Mar tire changer.

That explains why I never got a response to and of the holiday greetings, birthday wishes, and similar messages I have texted you. I even texted you from LS once to see if you were going to be there!
