WOTL needed Houston Tx

I know these are long shots but I thought I thought I would try.

I am in need of a cleaning/decontamination company to clean up a 2br townhouse.

Also in need of a good Probate attorney.

Dan, SERVPRO cleaned up and restored a house in my neighborhood when the kitchen caught fire. You can find them at servpro.com or 1-800-SERVPRO. I have no ties to them whatsoever. Just know they did a good job for my neighbors.

Agree with Lee, Dan. Neighbor's house flooded while they were away - upstairs bathroom. You can imagine the result of a,week of leakage. SERVPRO to the rescue and you'd never know what happened. Believe they must be franchised all over the nation. Sorry for what you're going thru. Best always, Dan.

Servpro worked on my house when it flooded.

I would not touch them with a ten foot pole, at least not the D/FW area franchisee that we got stuck with. USAA insurance stepped in and got things right, but they should not have had to.

I will be happy to privately give you the details of my experiences with them. Each franchisee is different, and others have already shared positive experiences with different operators.

For a good probate attorney the best referral is from someone who has personal knowledge and has hired such an attorney. If that's not possible go to: www.actec.org. That's the website for the American College of Trust and Estate Council and generally lists only the best attorneys in that field. they have a listing by state and city so you should be able to locate someone through their website.

Re: WOTL needed Houston Tx

Thanks for the suggestions.
We wound up going with Bio-Tex to clean up. They did a great job and I highly
recommend them. We had 2 estimates. $2400 and $17k to $20k.

We got a probate attorney recommended by a friend of the lawyer who is handling
our Dad's estate. Seems quite competent.

Long story shorter:
Dad passed away Apr '13 and left us with a huge house (not liveable) and a bunch of cars,
trucks,tractors and a manlift.

Youngest sister passed away Aug '13 and left a house that also was not liveable. We
got Bio-tex to come out and remove a 40 yd dumpster worth of trash from a 2bdr home.

It has been a memorable year to say the least.

Wow, Bud - prayers to you and the family. One family member passing away is tragic enough, but two! And the patriarch - good heavens!

Glad I got to break bread with your Dad sometime back. You always spoke highly of him, and I saw why.

Hope the negatives you're going thru now have a quick ending. God Bless, Dan.

Sorry for your loss, Dan. Two in one year is a heavy load. Prayers for you, Kathy and the rest of the family. Not sure what I can do to help, but I do have a PU with a trailer hitch if you need help transporting trailered vehicles.

Glad you got the place cleaned up.
I do not have a pick up but I can be there in my little car in a short while if you need some help. Just nothing with tools. <wink>

Re: WOTL needed Houston Tx

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Dick, Aug 22-2011 RTE in Victoria. Dad enjoyed that and everytime I visited after that he always asked "Where were ya'll eating that month".

Bones: No help needed at this time. Maybe lunch with ya this Sat if available.
Will call you later.

I need some down time away from here. Trying to decide between CCR or an Alaskan cruise.
