Thanks Guys, Had the day off but it was raining so i spent time in the garage finishing up the build of my new panniers racks for the KLR. I have 2 20mm ammo cans coming in a few days to attack to the racks. Here are a few pics before the body work and paint.



All the corners have gussets for added strength



The rear cross bar unbolts for easy install.

Sorry this is a one time build. The cost of materials alone comes in just over $100.00 then add in my 15 plus hours of time and you can buy rack for less (around $170.00). My only thought was the ammo cans are about 8 to 10 lbs heavier each then aluminum cases and the stock racks may not be strong enough plus I like to build things.
