Hi Jim
Kathy and I are fine, no high water. The creek 100 yds away is high but not an issue.

The drive to work Monday morning was interesting. No high water but heavy rain. Of course
that was 4am and flooding did not start until 5. Maybe 15% of staff made it in. Office on the Beltway was surrounded by high water. Beltway closed in both directions.

Drive home at 4pm was AWESOME! Westpark tollway was empty, not a car as far as I could see,1-2 miles.
20 miles home I probably did not see 20 cars on Tollway. Normally Slow and Go.

Dry thankfully. Water came up on lawn about 12 feet, but no damage.

Re: High Water - Houston

I heard from Andy & Karen and the water came just inches from them but started going down before it entered the house. As of this morning it was still raining but all was dry inside.

Re: High Water - Houston

I had to drive to Bush Airport yesterday and had rain all the way. Coming back, the Colorado river was WAY out of it's banks. Lots of water and it has to go somewhere. Hope everyone is safe.

Re: High Water - Houston

Looks like a couple of sunny days in store. Hope everyone is safe & dry and the water recedes a bit before the next low pressure system arrives.
