Syd (now a/k/a Skydd) Had a BAD Get-Off Yesterday

Some of you may remember Syd Grant from a few years ago before he sold his LT and went to the Barca-Side (GW).

On a breakfast ride yesterday, Syd lost control in a curve at about 50 MPH and went down, no helmet. Several broken ribs, road rash, and other injuries, but he is very lucky to still be with us.

He is expected to be in hospital until tomorrow, and then will go home to begin his recovery.

Please keep Syd and his family in your prayers, if you are so inclined.

Re: Syd (now a/k/a Skydd) Had a BAD Get-Off Yesterday

Visited Syd at the hospital today. He looks pretty banged up, lots of road rash, and six cracked ribs. He is in good spirits and understands how lucky he is. That was good to see.

His 14 y.o. son, Hayden, is back in town and will be helping him when he can, and Syd's mom is coming in for a bit to help out soon. Between family, friends, and his extended police family, he is in good hands.

Not his first get-off, he knows the drill, and is committed to making a full recovery. BZ, Syd. Glad you are still among us.
