Mounting Options for XM/Sirius Mirge Radio

Does anyone have experience with the Mirge radio that receives both Sirius and XM.

Need to figure a way to mount it on a 2009 LT.

Thanks!

This is the first Mirage unit I've seen. I'd have to see what the back of the cradle looked like to be able to help you. I've had two different Sirius units mounted on BMR shelves connected to the intercom for satellite radio on two different LTs. The BMR arms were built specifically for the radio cradle so there is no swapping. The BMR shelp is one option, but it may not be one that you're interested in.

Good hunting.

I think the Hoon Mount is the cleanest way to mount any XM radio.

I would think that the cradle would have the standard four holes in the back to attach it to existing mounting hardware and not be something so new that it would not match up. If that’s the case check out Ram Mounts. I have one on my 05 LT and it works great. Easy to install and adjust

Re: Mounting Options for XM/Sirius Mirge Radio

I am not worried about securing the vehicle mount to the bike. The advice given so far is a home run.
I am concerned about the quality of the vehicle mount and its ability to hold the radio unit securely on the open road.

Thanks in advance for assistance!

All I can say is RAM Mounts do all of this. I am very happy with mine.

+1 on the Hoon mount. I have the model that's offset to the left so it clears my radar detector.

Re: Mounting Options for XM/Sirius Mirge Radio

I've just purchased my LT with Sirus mount installed on left side handlebar above clutch reservoir housing. I system had never been hooked up. What might be the best wat to route the wires? Thanks
