Suburban machinery peg lowering kit

I have the Suburban machinery peg lowering kit on my 07 RT and would like to transfer it to my R1250RT

This is what they mention on their site:

Foot peg lowering kit (driver only)

DL3N fits all RT models 1996 to 2013.
DL3N Kit fits R1100RT, R1150RT, R1200RT, R850R, R1100R, R1100RS

If you currently own a DL3 kit and are moving up to a 2014 or newer RT, your current kit WILL fit the newer bikes.
The DL3N right side adapter has additional spring coil clearance to ease installation of the stronger springs used on the newer RT. Installing the old kit on a new bike may require a second set of hands to help.

(DB1) footpeg lowering kit

--- Please Note regarding DB1 kit ---

On recent production R1200RTW and the new R1250RT the foot of the side stand
is slightly longer than on earlier models and, when in the retracted position,
the foot just touches the footpeg return spring when our DB1 kit is installed.
This should not be a problem on years 2014-2017.

We recommend using the new DL3W on 2018 R1200RTW and the new R1250RT.

Has anyone transferred their kit to the the shiftcam and is it really an issue?

If you can park it, and not turn around to admire it before walking away, you bought the wrong one.
