Replacing headlight lense

2016 at broken lense. Can I access a lense without buying the whole assembly.

I do not think so.

I had thought I read a thread about baking a light to cut the sealant to install HID but I may have that confused with another vehicle.

No matter as you need a lens so I would think second hand. Beemer Bone Yard to start. Flea Bay next.

I don't think so. Looking at the parts lists [https://shop.maxbmw.com/fiche/Diagra...&rnd=07242017] (diagram - 63_1592 - HEADLIGHT II) and (diagram 63_1591 - HEADLIGHT I)

It doesn't look favourable.

I really hope you have success with Ebay, Beemerboneyard, Motorworks or other bike breakers

I don't have a clue if this will work, but it may. And if so it is a VERY good price:

Re: Replacing headlight lense

I am seeing several different part numbers for a 2016 R1200RT headlight assembly.
63128541627 Headlight I K52: R 1200 RT (0A03, 0A13): (2013-2018)
63128541628 Headlight II K52: R 1200 RT (0A03, 0A13): (2013-2018)
63127718055
63127681663

I think I see daytime running lights = no,...... what does this mean?

UK maybe dips to the left?

Does anyone have actual first hand experience in purchasing this 2016 RT headlight, rather than simply looking at online parts lists?
Thanks

I looked again and the last two numbers are for earlier RT.
