Renting two BMWs near Minneapolis

Hi All,

My friend and I are trying to rent two BMWs near Minneapolis, MN to do a ride around Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Does anyone in that area have a couple of bikes to rent or does anyone know of a place to rent them?

The only real rental option I have found is Eagle Rider and they are only renting HDs from the Minnesota locations.

We are trying to do our ride from June 15/16 to June 20, 2019.

Cheers,
Tom

P.S. We both have been riding for over 30 years, have done all four levels of California Superbike School, Stayin' Safe on-road training, and have done long tours every year for the past 15+ years.

Check out www.twistedroad.com. It is a site where individuals rent their personal bikes.

I have not used them but a fellow rider did list his bike.

Thanks Doug! I was not familiar with this site. I do know of Riders Share at https://www.riders-share.com/. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like either of these sites works for our trip.

Recently went through the same drill trying to rent a BMW in Chicago/Milwaukee for a trip in July. Only Harleys available. Really wanted something smaller/lighter. Ended up renting through Twisted road. I will see how this goes. Much cheaper going this route! Please still try to take your trip. Been there, done that, it is a beautiful part of the country!

Re: Renting two BMWs near Minneapolis

I found out a few months ago that Eagle Ride only has Harley. They have dropped all other brands of bike.

Re: Renting two BMWs near Minneapolis

Unfortunately it seems only California and Arizona seem to be the best bets for renting a BMW

We decided to go through with it and just rent the Harleys. So, it will just be a different ride but in a beautiful part of the country.
