Okay, playing around with RT's radio and GPS trying to pair iPhone. Ended up successfully unpairing all, but now when I rotate the volume control a "speakers off" text comes on the screen and no sound. How do I get speakers back on? I see no icon on either GPS or audio on computer display allowing me to do so. Any help?
You need to turn off the bluetooth and the speaker will come back on. Same button that gets you into the tone settings I believe. Let me know if you can't figure it out and I will give you step by step instructions.
There is an option under Audio, I believe it is called Loudspeaker, and has options for On and Off. I use this when riding with my wife who doesn't have audio in the helmet and just want to play it on the speakers.
The audio from the RT speakers is god-awful and the RT's bluetooth audio is just about as bad.
I removed my speakers altogether and am using those spaces for extra storage. When I mount these new Clearwater mirror brackets on the bike, I plan on removing the audio control box as well.
Hi, recently I bought a 14 R1200Rt, I faced the same problems, kindly advise , thanks in advance . In addition, when try to connect e Bluetooth w my iphone , it prompts for password, any default password ?
I use a thumb drive loaded with play lists to listen to music, it works perfectly with good audio quality. I then connect my Sena 50 R to the bike to receive the music in my helmet. I have a 8GB thumb drive so there is ample space for music storage. I have about 75% of my iTunes collection on the drive.
