need help with MT roads

I am looking at detouring onto Montana hwy 508 (Yaak river road) and NF 92 over to hwy 37 then over to Glacier NP. Does any one know if these roads are paved? This is NW Montana off of hwy 2.

Re: need help with MT roads

Hey Brian, hope this is not too late, I've been pretty busy.

I know that 508 and 37 are paved, but NF (National Forest) 92 is probably not paved.

I live in Kalispell, and checked the current state map and found no other paved roads around Yaak/Libby.

Hope this helps and it is not too late....

Re: need help with MT roads

Gary,
Thanks for the reply. I went thru there last week. Hwy 508 was fantastic. High speed sweepers thru some really beautiful country. It was lightly travelled and followed a nice river. NF 92 was paved and in decent condition. Posted limit on this road was 10-35 mph and very tight twisties with a lot of elevation gain and then elevation drop. This road had almost no traffic. I think I only saw one car on this road. Also very scenic. I was very glad I detoured on this route. I did not see any services on this route so gas up before taking it.
