2019 MOA Rally Oldest Solo Rider

I am so happy to be part of my girls father John Miller for winning Oldest Solo Rider this year at 84.

We did Iowa last year. I think some guys were like 90 so unexpected this year!

So very proud to see it he has been on BMW's forever.

Marine

Retired Motorcycle policeman.

Him, his daughter Patrica, and myself, did a 730 mile day to get here on Thursday night.

Cool Stuff to see and be part off!

That is wonderful. I was there but never ran into you. I was only two hours away and we left there today at 11. Needed to get home.

Re: 2019 MOA Rally Oldest Solo Rider

Wish we could have ran into you.

We just got home and showered.

All but 700 miles and we left Lebanon around 8:00 am.

Patricia was a trooper on her Vulcan S 650. We did 75 almost the entire time we traveled, and we did buzz 80 and 85 at times.

Was a nice time but not sure about Montana. I would want ride with someone. It is like 2200 I think from here. Not sure I have 3, 700 mile days in me back to back, then ride Montana. And of course I have not looked, is Montana a good state to ride?

Re: 2019 MOA Rally Oldest Solo Rider

When we went through there on our way to CCR in Idaho, we about got blown away with a tornado on our way into Great Falls. Then we saw tons of critters in our path as we headed up to Glacier from Great Falls, giant rabbit (ran between me and the Bushtec and survived), eagle swooped down to windshield height, herd of cows and a herd of horses. But Glacier was worth it.

Re: 2019 MOA Rally Oldest Solo Rider

Was there w/my cousin on his KRS. Nice getaway, seem to be way too busy these days. However, I'm lurking the LT's again and interested in a day ride swap.

Any takers?

I have 50 k on an oilhead and 35k on my GT, so dry clutch/tractor shifts are second nature.
Gotta beware who you let ride your dry clutch ya know!

My GT gets real small with my sweety pilling on..and long trips get real short.
