dwsdad posted a related video on this type of helmet a few days ago. Pretty interesting stuff. I'm ambivalent about the pricing, butt it's too early for the marketing dudes to promise sales and promotions.

Which then weighs 6 or 7 lbs and snaps your neck in a crash. Don't forget the neck brace.

At over 4 lbs, many modern flip ups (eg Neotec) are already too heavy by close to a lb.

At $1500 it's really only double the price of a top-of-the-line helmet. There are times I think I'd pay that much for a helmet that was super-comfortable on an all-day ride, without any fancy electronics.
