Helmets for BIG heads.

I have always had limited selection available to me because of my fat head. Most helmets are not large enough or have the wrong kind of head form.

My old HJC flip-up helmet, XXXL, which I had to press on the Styrofoam long ago to get to fit, was old and getting run down, so I looked around for a replacement. Much to my amazement, I found that HJC now makes some models up to XXXXXL (5XL)! Holy huge helmet!

I ordered a XXXXL (4XL) CL-Max II and it just arrived.

It fits!

Re: Helmets for BIG heads.

I have a Shoei and and Arai in XXXL and both are the only two helmets that are both comfortable and I can wedge my head in.

I wear a 7-7/8 to size 8 hat. I've worn Shoei Helmets, and they fit great. I now wear Schuberth C-3 XXL, and fits fine. Size and shape of the helmet matters. I couldn't get an HJC nor an Arai that felt good.
