Schuberth Helmet Mic Question

I was lucky to get my new helmet with the Bluetooth module installed, but don't have a cell phone with BT nor if I did, plan to use it on the bike. The microphone sits in my way and I 'm wondering two things.

1. Can it be removed without affecting the audio?

2. How difficult is it to remove?

3. If removed, can it be replaced and how hard is that to do?

Tampa, Fl.

Re: Schuberth Helmet Mic Question

Yeah, the mike is close but there is more room in there to move it around out of the way. After closing the flip I can lay it down on the chin curtain and it is out of the way. I doubt it can be removed but could be wrong. Keep trying different places, you probably will find somewhere it is out of the way.

Good Luck

Re: Schuberth Helmet Mic Question

The only way to remove the mic is to either cut it off, or to open up the SRC system and try and unhook it from inside.

Either method will void your warranty.

I'd say just try and find a position where it's tucked out of your way.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
