Anyone have any experience with Bohn-Armor?
I like the look of jeans but there is no protection.
I've looked at Kevlar jeans and while the might protect you from skin/road rash, they won''t do anything to minimize trauma to knees, hips, shins, etc.,
The Bohn Armor product seams to be a solution. It's like putting on lycra thermals but with armor padding. Then, you can just put your regular jeans on.
It doesn't look bulky under jeans and the only two disadvantages I can think of is heat retention and material meltdown. In other words, the composite used in the "armor" is very likely to "melt" as it suffers contact with the road. The "melted" material could cause severe burns. Unlike kevlar pads which won't break down.
Anyone have any experience with this product?
Oops! Just saw where this issue had been previously raised and addressed. Didn't see it in my first seach.
