I need "sticky" boots

I read through thread talking about rain gear and a number of you guys said you wear BMW boots. My question is, how's the traction you get out of them? I have a couple pairs of "normal" rubber soled boots that do great in dry conditions but dramatically affect the pucker factor on wet pavement and concrete. I don't want to spend a bundle, but if that will help keep me upright, well...

Stu..
How about the issue boots for the sandbox? Are they slick, too?

Re: I need "sticky" boots

I wear Alpinestars and they provide good traction in the wet.

Re: I need "sticky" boots

check out the TCX boot sale at New Enough .

TCX (previously OXTAR) are high quality boots with soles that grip in the wet.

Re: I need "sticky" boots

I like my cruiserworks boots the best of everything I own. All my other boots are great riding boots but impossible to walk in. I always had to carry an extra pair of shoes with me to put on once I got to my destination. But the cruiserworks boots are good to walk in.

The cruiserworks boots are lightweight with no lining. But totally waterproof. I've rode in all day rains with them with no problems. Very sticky soles; but the soles do wear quickly compared to other brands I have used.
